Adult Beginner 16 years and up
This level is an orientation to water and an essential beginning point for building the foundation of basic swimming strokes. Swimmers will learn front and back floats, front, back and side glides and a propulsive flutter kick. An introduction to arm action with rhythmic breathing and self safety skills such as treading water and entries into deep water.
Intermediate/Advanced 16 years and up
This level provides adults the skills to perform and be introduced to all four strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Stroke improvement and technique is focused on for all four strokes to build endurance and work towards swimming for fitness and an introduction to open water swimming or a masters swim workout.
