Covid-19 and Communicable Disease Instructor Illness Plan

All instructors must declare they are symptom-free by using the Daily Health Check

If instructors are at work, and start experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness consistent with COVID-19 or a communicable disease, even if symptoms are mild,  they must move themselves into an area separate from others, don a mask and make arrangements to leave work immediately. Do not leave child participants unattended. You must ensure that all parent/guardians have been notified.

Please ensure that objects and surfaces that you have touched are disinfected before being used by others before you leave.

Once all participants and their parents/guardians have left the facility, you must go straight home.

Instructors who are sick:

• Stay home for 5 days.

• If you have no symptoms or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house.

• Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.

• If you have a fever, continue to stay home until your fever resolves.
