SWIM FIT 12-15 YRS.

 

 

This program is designed for youth that are interested in getting back into swimming for fitness and preparing for Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross lifesaving programs. Stroke improvement and technique is focused on for all four strokes to build endurance and an introduction to lifesaving skills.

*Prerequisite: Must have completed Swim For Life Swimmer level 6 or Red Cross Swim Kids 7 Equivalent

YOUTH OPEN WATER 12-15 YRS.

 

 

This program is designed for youth that are interested in swimming for fitness in open water and preparing for and open water swim event. Participants will learn: open water safety skills, practice efficient swim techniques, acclimating to open water, breathing techniques, applying open-water orientation and sighting skills,

race awareness such as swimming in a pack and buoy turns.

 

*Wetsuits and goggles are mandatory*
**Must be able to swim 100m of Front Crawl efficiently with face in the water.
